If you stay at Disney World long enough, it's going to rain. The area is known for its quick blasts of rain and chances are you may get stuck in one. While there are plenty of places to get out of the rain, everyone else has that same idea. Plus, when it starts you can get drenched quickly. So, make sure to take an umbrella as well as some disposable plastic raincoats. You may be able to pick them up cheap before getting to Disney. In the park, they'll cost you a bundle. So, plan ahead.
That's Hot!

The reality is that Florida can be downright hot, especially in the spring and summer months. So, plan ahead and bring a fan or a fan/spray bottle to cool you down. Also, build in time to take periodic breaks by stopping in air conditioned gift shops from time to time. And, don't forget to bring sunblock with SPF50.
Again, you can get these items in the park if you don't mind selling your kidney to afford them. So, purchase these items before getting to Disney World.

Taking a Stroll...

It can be tough to decide whether to bring a stroller with you to the parks or to just rent one during your visit. Take a look at the pros and cons below before making your decision. Either way you go, with young kids the stroller gives you a place to let them relax while navigating the parks. At the end of the day, you'll be glad you did.
Bringing Your Own: This option will certainly save you money. No doubt about it. But, many attractions make you park your stroller in a 'holding' area and on busy days your stroller could disappear quickly. So NEVER leave valuables in any stroller in the park. If you think you may need one during other parts of your trip outside of the parks (around the resort, at the airport, etc.) then consider bringing one from home. If you do make sure it has a full umbrella above it to protect your little ones (even their feet) from sunburn.
Renting A Stroller: The real benefit to renting a stroller is that you don't need to worry about it being stolen or lost. If you rent a stroller for the day and someone takes off with it simply return where you rented it and you will be given another one to use. Still, this option is pretty pricey for those on a budget. So, if you plan to rent then budget a stroller a day into your plans.
Remember, there are many strollers and your rental can easily be taken even by accident as you are certainly not the only one renting and they all look the same. So, we recommend bringing a brightly colored handkerchief with you to tie onto the stroller. That makes it much easier when returning from an attraction to pick out witch stroller is yours.
